"Les matins chez grand-mère" is a deeply personal piece that captures the quiet magic of early morning light casting a stark shadow on a wall. To me, it’s more than a study of light and form—it’s a window to memory. This painting is rooted in the tender moments of my childhood, when I would wake early to sit in the living room with my grandmother and watch the sunrise. Even then, I felt the stillness and significance of those mornings. They became a ritual of peace and connection that stayed with me. Every sunrise since has carried me back to that space—soft, golden, and full of love. This work is my way of holding onto that feeling and sharing it with others.
